Mits Air US3-RSJ-15/300RDVN3-L3

It delivers 91 gallons of hot water in the test's first hour. Its tank holds 74 gallons, so reheating adds 17 gallons during the first hour. Of 481 heat pump models, 43 give more hot water in the first hour. Among heat pump models, the median first-hour rating is 72 gallons.

As of Oct 22, 2026, it was not listed as ENERGY STAR certified. In the test, it gives 4.00 units of hot water energy per unit it uses (its UEF). Pulling heat from the air lets its UEF pass 1. The daily hot water use in the test, called its draw pattern, was high. Of 237 heat pump models with the same draw pattern, 70 have a higher UEF and 141 a lower one. On its draw pattern, the median heat pump UEF is 3.88. Its recovery efficiency is 450%, because it takes heat from the air as it reheats water.

All of its test figures are shared by 16 other basic models. In all, 15 other brands list one or more of them. You can find the whole group on the page for the 1HVAC ACIQ-80G-HP-WH.

In one state, one rebate program may accept it. It may qualify for 3 more if it meets terms its figures do not show.
